About Us

WYROC Materials, Inc. (WYROC) is engaged in the exploration, mining, and processing of construction aggregate materials as well as the recycling of concrete and asphalt. Companies associated with WYROC through ownership interest include Agg-Mat, a general engineering company, Green Valley, a leasing company, Halloran Paving and Grading, grading contractor; Regional Materials Recovery Inc., a mining and recycling company; and Halloran and Associates, and W&J L.L.C., a development company.

Brief Corporate History
The original company was organized on January 4, 1960 as a California Corporation under the name of Wiley Bros. Transit Mix. In 1966, Provident Engineering Development Company purchased all of the common stock of the company, new directors were elected and Mr. William J. Halloran was elected President. In 1976 Wiley Bros. Transit Mix changed it's name to WYROC, Inc. and sold it's ready mixed concrete operations to Superior Ready Mix and entered into a contract to supply Industrial Asphalt (now Vulcan Materials) with aggregate. In 2002 the name of WYROC, Inc. was transferred to a new corporation, WYROC Materials, Inc. WYROC Materials, Inc., formerly known as Regional Materials Recovery, Inc. continues under the same management as WYROC, Inc.

WYROC's corporate office is in Vista. The company's activities are primarily in the city of San Marcos in San Diego County and in the city of Lake Elsinore in Riverside County.

Industrial Safety
WYROC has consistently received awards and has maintained a record of operating in compliance with the safety standards and recommendations of: CAL OSHA and MSHA

Civic and Community Relations
WYROC is considered one of the pioneering companies within the City of Vista. Over the years, WYROC has been a major contributor to the City's tax base and has always maintained a close working relationship with City staff.

WYROC has been involved with and has given financial support to a large variety of community and civic organizations including the Boys and Girls Club; YMCA; Vista Economic Development Association; Vista and Lake Elsinore Chamber of Commerce; and Police and Fire Fighter organizations. WYROC is also a member of the Association of General Contractors.
